How to do it:
1. Lay down some newspaper on a flat surface, place your frame down and paint your picture frame with a coat of paint.
2. Once the paint has dried, use the wood glue to attach each rock to your picture frame. Add a blob of wood glue to the back of each rock and press it down gently onto the picture frame. Leave it lying flat to dry overnight before picking it up.
3. Place your picture into the frame and when you’re ready give it to your dad!
World’s Greatest Dad Medal
What you will need:
Cardboard
Ribbon
Gold paint
Permanent marker
Tape or glue
Scissors
How to do it:
1. Glue together 2 pieces of cardboard and cut out a circle.
2. Paint the circle gold and leave it to dry. Once it has dried, turn it over and paint the other side. Once the paint on both sides have completely dried, write "World's Greatest Dad!" on the circle.
3. Cut out a piece of ribbon, about 60cms long, and tape or glue the ribbon to the back of the circle.
4. If you used glue, wait for it to dry before giving it to dad!
Hand painted pots
What you will need:
Clay pots
Paint
Paint brushes
Potting soil
Plants of your choice (succulent plants are great to use)
How to do it:
1. Set up a work station. Lay down some newspaper, your choice of paint and the clay pots. Have your kiddies go wild and paint the pots. Leave them to dry for about an hour.
2. Once they have dried, plant something in them!Before placing the new plant inside, add a layer of soil to your pot. Place your plant in the pot, making sure that the plant is centered and upright then press it down gently before adding more soil.
3. Once you have patted it down, water the soil and there you have it!
