- 2 Tetley Earl Grey Tea bags
- 115g butter
- 1 cup 200g sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup 60g flour
- ⅓ cup 40g cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate Icing Ingredients:
- 1 Tetley Earl Grey Tea bag
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup icing sugar
- heap tablespoon cocoa
Method
For the Brownie:
- Melt butter and steep the Tetley Earl Grey tea bags for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.

- In a small bowl, melt the butter until smooth (you can microwave it for about 20 seconds or melt it over low heat).
- Add cocoa powder and mix until combined.
- Gradually sift in the icing sugar to the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Slowly add the brewed tea, a teaspoon at a time, until the icing reaches your desired consistency (you may not need all the tea).
- Let them cool before slicing. Once cooled, dust with icing sugar and enjoy
