Ingredients - Cake
4 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
1 ¼ cup Flour
3tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
1 tsp Elaichi Powder
1/2 cup milk steeped with Tetley Masala Chai
Additional 3 tbsp milk also steeped with Tetley Masala Chai
¼ cup Oil
Ingredients - Icing
1 ½ cup Icing Sugar
½ cup Softened Butter
3 tbsp of Chai Infused Milk
Drop of Rose Essence
Half tsp Elaichi Powder
Method - Cake
- Beat the eggs and sugar until light and creamy.
- Add ½ cup chai infused milk and oil. Beat lightly. Add the remaining dry ingredients and beat slightly, do not over beat.
- Pour into greased cake pan.
- Bake at 180°c for approximately 20-25 minutes.
- Allow to cool before icing.
Method - Icing
- Add all ingredients to bowl and beat until smooth, adjust flavor as required.
- Ice cake once cool.
