Recipe by Tebo and Lebo Ndala
Ingredients - Mushrooms
250g Mushrooms (of your choice)
¼ cup melted butter
Ingredients - Spice Mix
1 Teabag of black tea (open the bag and use loose leaves)
1 Tbs Sea salt
1 Tbs black pepper
1 Tbs smoked paprika
(Mix all the spices together and store in a cool cupboard until ready to use)
Method
- Preheat your griddle pan.
- Place a row of mushrooms on a skewer.
- Brush the mushrooms with melted butter, and add a pinch of the spice mix on the skewers before placing the mushrooms on the hot griddle pan.
- Grill the mushrooms for about 5 minutes, turn them over to cook both sides evenly and make sure to get grill marks.
- Enjoy hot with a fresh salad.
