Ingredients
2 bags Laager Rooibos Tea
1 cup Boiling water
2 cm Turmeric, sliced
2 cm Ginger, sliced
3 TBSP Apple cider vinegar, organic unfiltered
4 cups Fresh water
1 Lemon, juiced to taste
Optional:
Pinch of cinnamon
Sweetener of choice
Method
- Steep the Laager Rooibos teabags in boiling water for at least 15 minutes.
- Combine the fresh turmeric and ginger in a blender with a small amount of water and process until smooth.
- Add the liquid along with the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon and the steeped Laager Rooibos tea to a glass jug and stir vigorously.
- Add the remaining water, then sweeten as desired.
The liquid will separate on standing so make sure to stir each time before pouring and keep refrigerated between portions.
